Soms komt het voor dat een kunstenaar contact met ons opneemt. Een aantal schetsen worden aangeleverd, wat wij vervolgens verder uitwerken tot productietekeningen. Het is gaaf om te zien hoe een idee uit het hoofd van een kunstenaar dan plots werkelijkheid wordt.
Zo gebeurde dit ook met het kunstwerk van Alicia Framis.
Het kunstwerk is gemaakt uit dikke transparante PMMA platen. Ze zijn volledig mechanisch met elkaar verbonden, zodat het kunstwerk ook gedemonteerd kan worden om het te transporteren en elders op te bouwen.
Dit kunstwerk is een onderdeel van van de expositie Forbidden Rooms.

Confessionarium
is a transparent confession booth that allows its entrants to be seen by the outside world. Leaving the machinations of the Catholic church uncloaked, Framis raises the issue of the hypocrisy prevalent in the church. The work also emphasizes the need for transparency in a society that is repeatedly criticized for its secrecy and unwillingness to take responsibility for its faults and mistakes.
